Will take work orders generated by Team Leaders under the supervision of the Maintenance Engineer and/or Maintenance Supervisor and conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production periods and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service periods.
Prepare machinery for scheduled production runs.
Perform mechanic skills, including, but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting; and the repairing of packaging and production machines.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of a one year Technical training curriculum in a specific skill required.
Prior experience with machinery is a requirement, with an exposure to high-speed equipment considered a plus.
Two or more years of related experience in packing machines/production machines is also considered beneficial.
Good troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
